Carenado A36 Bonanza FSX/P3D is a software program developed by Carenado. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). Apr 19, 2017 'Come fly with me!' We'll fly from: (KTVY) Bolinder Field-Tooele Valley to (U42) South Valley Regional Airport, Salt Lake City, Utah! Taxi & Take-Off with Flight Simulator X (FSX) Acceleration.
A36 Bonanza, registration N36LB (fictitious) 'Little Bandit'. A repaint for the payware Carenado A36, and also has engine modification files included. This engine modification was first developed for the Dreamfleet A36 Bonanza with tip tanks. This modification was the work of Peter McLeland who was kind enough to assist with this engine modification for the FSX Carenado A36 Bonanza.. a.k.a. 'Little Bandit'. By Kevin Michael.

Two folders included. You can do one of two things here. You can JUST install the repaint of the A36 Bonanza, if you would like. Or you can install the repaint and the engine modification. If you elect to install just the repaint, then you DO NOT have to worry about the 'Engine Modification' Folder.
For the repaint:
- Unzip the file to a temporary location, and copy the folder 'texture.N36TC' into:
C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Simobjects/Airplanes/Carenado BONANZA A36 - Open the 'Aicraft.cfg' file in 'Carenado BONANZA A36' folder and change the X to the next number in your list:

The Flight
The hardware I am using to perform the test flying is a VKBsim Gladiator II joystick, Logitech G502 mouse on a 2015 MacBook Pro 15, 2.5 GHz i7 CPU, 16 GB DDR3 RAM and Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB GPU. I was able to see 20 to 28 frames per second with the graphics settings I choose; in the X-Plane 11.25r1 Rendering Options menu I do not select 'draw shadows on scenery' and keep 'Reflection Detail' at minimum. I have the Visual Effects set at 'High(HDR)', Texture Quality is set 'High', Antialiasing set at 'FXAA' and Number of World Objects set at 'High'.
I noticed an almost ten frames-per-second gain when I switched from 'Low' Reflection Detail to 'Minimum'.
For my chosen area of operations I relocated to UT25 Monument Valley Airport, at Monument Valley, Utah. You will notice from the screen shots the scenery is not the default X-Plane 11 mesh, no sir. I have the distinct pleasure of touring around the Orbx recreation of Monument Valley for X-Plane 11 (reviewed here).
I took the opportunity to tour around and explore the geographical area as well as the aircraft model, experimenting with different times of day as well as fields of view. For all the ground based screen grabs I cranked the graphics settings nearly to the maximums, and set the field of view at the maximum 110 degrees.
